Manchester City Complete Colossal Comeback to Defeat RB Leipzig
Mahrez Jinks Down the Right and Rolls
City Progress to the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals
Manchester City have completed a colossal comeback to defeat RB Leipzig 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium and progress to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
Riyad Mahrez jinked down the right flank and rolled the ball past goalkeeper Janis Blaswich in the 92nd minute to secure a dramatic victory for the hosts.
The victory completes a remarkable turnaround for City, who trailed 2-0 after the first leg in Germany. Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish scored in the second half to level the tie on aggregate, before Mahrez's late winner sent the Etihad Stadium into raptures.
City will now face either Real Madrid or Liverpool in the quarter-finals.
